Papers include cataloged letters by Wrangel, Evgeniĭ Miller, Nikolaĭ T︠S︡urikov and other leading milirary figures of the period. Arranged correspondence contains ROVS Central Office, Wrangel's Headquarters, "Khodataĭstva," the ROVS I-VI Otdely, topical corresponcence sent to Ivan Kholḿsen, Aleksandr Kutepov and Miller. Manuscripts include memoirs by White military figures on WW I, the revolution and Civil War, and Miller's kidnapping. There are photographs taken during WW I and the Civil War. The Simbirskiĭ Kadetskiĭ Korpus file holds photographs of the Imperial family. Organizational records include alfavity, ROVS circulars and informational bulletins, court of honor proceedings, financial records, informational reports, surveys and summaries, particularly on Soviet activities and developments inside the USSR, inquiries on numerous individuals, and orders. There are also organizational files of the Armeĭskiĭ Korpus, the six otdely in Europe, and Kutepov's files. Subject files concern such topics as Russian military agents in Japan, the Netherlands and Switzerland during World War I, ROVS film-making projects, military education in exile, Kutepov's kidnapping, military organizational records prior to ROVS' existence and the genesis of officers' unions in the emigration. The printed material include 3 scrapbooks compiled during WW II entitled "Na Vostochnom Fronte," and circulars and pamphlets of other emigre organizations. Related materials can be found in the following Bakhmeteff Archive collections: Arkhangelśkiĭ, Kutepov, Lampe, ROVS-North America, and Shatilov.

Imperial and White army general who served as head of the Russian Universal Military Union (Russkiĭ Obʺshche-Voinskiĭ Soi︠u︡z) in 1929-30, and was then kidnapped by Soviet agents. Correspondence consists chiefly of consolatory letters to his wife after his abduction; there are also letters to Kutepov from other White generals, such as Petr Wrangel and Pavel Shatilov.
